Online National Porfolio Day

    National Portfolio Days are opportunities for those who wish to pursue an education and career in the visual and related arts to meet with representatives and receive feedback on their portfolios. Free and open to the public; portfolio days are hosted each year in venues throughout the U.S., Canada and online. Please be sure to also register at nationalportfolioday.org, and note that registering for the event does not guarantee a portfolio review. Reviews are given on a first-come first-serve basis.

    Prior to the events, we recommend taking a minute to familiarize yourself with the CalArts application process. All programs at CalArts require a portfolio or audition specific to that program. You can view a list of our portfolio and audition requirements here. 

    For the safety of CalArts staff and all attendees, all CalArts hosted events will require proof of COVID-19 immunization. Please be prepared to show proof of vaccination when arriving at the event.

    Thank you for your interest in CalArts and for registering for the Online National Portfolio Day on Saturday, November 20th. Unfortunately, CalArts will not be able to attend the event. We are a small school with very limited resources relative to the amount of interest in our programs, and we simply are not able to be there.

    However, you are still welcome to attend the event and meet with the many other excellent school of art and design that will participate. You are also welcome to register for the CalArts Open House on Saturday December 4th at https://apply.calarts.edu/register/OnlineOpenHouse2021_2.
