National Portfolio Days are opportunities for those who wish to pursue an education and career in the visual and related arts to meet with representatives and receive feedback on their portfolios. Free and open to the public; portfolio days are hosted each year in venues throughout the U.S., Canada and online. Please be sure to also register at nationalportfolioday.org, and note that registering for the event does not guarantee a portfolio review. Reviews are given on a first-come first-serve basis.

Prior to the events, we recommend taking a minute to familiarize yourself with the CalArts application process. All programs at CalArts require a portfolio or audition specific to that program. You can view a list of our portfolio and audition requirements here. 

For the safety of CalArts staff and all attendees, all CalArts hosted events will require proof of COVID-19 immunization. Please be prepared to show proof of vaccination when arriving at the event.
