CalArts Group Tour Request

Thank you for your interest in bringing your group to CalArts! Our group tours are led by our Student Ambassadors, current CalArts students who work as part of the Admissions team. The 60-75 minute tour will give your group an overview of the CalArts experience, showcasing a selection of general use and program-specific spaces around campus. In order to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, please review the following group tour guidelines before submitting your request:

    1. Group tours are available for high schools, community colleges, and other organizations who work with students at the 9th grade level and above. If you are interested in a tour but do not meet this criteria, please send an email to visitrequest@calarts.edu.

      1. At this time, we do not offer group tours for children below the 9th grade level.

    2. We can accommodate groups of up to 50 people, including chaperones.

      1. Please be advised that we may need to split your group up to better accommodate your request.

    3. We require one chaperone per 10 students. The chaperone(s) must stay with the group at all times during the tour.

    4. The CalArts campus tour is a walking tour that involves walking up and down multiple flights of stairs. If anyone in your group has accessibility concerns, please be sure to indicate that when you submit your request. We will do our best to make accommodations.

    5. The tour will begin promptly at the time stated in your confirmation email; arriving late will result in a shortened tour. If your group arrives more than 15 minutes late, the tour will be canceled.

    6. Our Student Ambassadors and Admissions staff reserve the right to cut a tour or visit short at any time for any reason, including guest behavior.

    7. Please do not submit multiple requests for the same visit—if we can accommodate your request you will receive an email from Admissions staff to coordinate the visit.

Your form submission confirmation DOES NOT confirm your visit—your request is only confirmed once you receive a personalized email from CalArts Admissions staff confirming the date and time of your visit and providing you with visit details.

Due to the high volume of requests we receive and the nature of the CalArts campus and student body, we are unable to guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your request.
