    Fall WHAP! Series 'Black Out'

    Visual activist and author of nearly a dozen books, Professor Nicholas Mirzoeff of Media, Culture, and Communication at New York University will speak on "racialized surveillance capitalism." He will intersect the work of Simone Browne and Cedric Robinson in the talk. In that frame, he will use the expression "white out" to tease out how white scholars should engage with the black radical tradition.
